Robert ‘Bob’ Satterfield is a QA/QC professional with over 25 years experience in GMP medical devices, combination products, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceuticals.  He has managed multi-facility Quality Control laboratories and Quality Assurance.  Previously Bob worked at Immunomedics (Exec. Director), Mallinckrodt (Executive Director), Ikaria (Sr. Director) and over a dozen startups in Biopharma, large/small molecule drug products.  In addition to working and managing Quality Control laboratories, Bob expanded his skills to include Quality Assurance.   In this role, he has managed external QA programs that utilized external parties, i.e. Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations, Contract Testing Laboratories, Contract Packagers.  His experience has enabled him to work on various product launches around the globe that require engaging country specific regulatory agencies.  He has built Quality Management Systems from scratch and built them to meet the company’s current needs…“right sized”.  Bob holds a BSc in Chemistry from Southeast Missouri University
