Claudia Jochheim PhD
Analytical Development
Claudia Jochheim is a veteran in the biopharmaceutical industry with broad ranging expertise in biologics, small molecule drugs, vaccines, and imaging devices working in start-up companies and big pharma. In her > 30 years’ experience, she was involved in bringing several drugs to the market such as Leukine (GMCSF), Enbrel (Fc-TNFR), Vectibix (anti-EGFR MAb), Bexxar (I131-anti-CD20 MAb conjugate), and Adcetris (anti-CD30 MAb-MMAE) as a scientist, project lead and Director of Analytical Sciences at Immunex, Amgen, Corixa, and Seagen, respectively. Claudia’s latest adventure was at Blaze Bioscience, developing a peptide-fluorophore NIR imaging agent for fluorescence guided surgery of many cancers. There she built the CMC department and ultimately directed the completion of process and analytical validation packages and Module 3 writing for NDA filing. As Corporate Executive VP, Claudia was involved in the broad strategic aspects of commercialization, including CMC, Imaging Devices, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Translational Sciences. Claudia studied Chemistry and Biochemistry and received her PhD in Analytical Chemistry in Germany from the University of Dortmund.
